About our home

Come visit our beautiful home in Feldmeilen, Zurich, Switzerland. We have 4 bedrooms with a unique Winter garden that can be used as an additional bedroom during your stay. We have two family rooms (one is the winter garden, depending on how you choose to use it), two offices (one equipped with workout equipment, an elliptical, and ping pong table) and a beautiful backyard with a garden and Koi Pond. Our home is a 2 minute walk from a spectacular country side walking trail with a 180 view of the lake. It is also 10 minute walk from the lake and Zurich city is a 20 minute train ride from the Feldmeilen station. We have two sweet kitties who would love to meet you, as well!

More about us

  1. We are a family of 5 (sometimes 6 when our oldest daughter (20) is home from university). My husband, myself, our daughter (15), son (2) and my mother in law.

  2. I am the the Head of Content for an educational games company, and my husband is the CTO of a startup.

  3. We love art, the outdoors, sports, food, and music.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We live close to the country side in a suburb of Zurich and in a very convenient area. There are many choices for groceries with the closest small market just across the street. We are also about a 2 min walk to the bus stop that connects directly with the train to the city. Best of all, we are a 10 min walk from the lake!

Ocean Drive, only a 10-15 min walk, Lycka is in downtown Meilen, a 30 min but beautiful walk on the countryside or 15 min bus ride.

Bit of culture
Swiss culture is easily accessible everywhere you go here. This is a great spot to practice German as many speak only a little English, but usually still enough to help you out if you don't speak any.

Amazing trails and hikes right outside of our door in pretty much every direction. Happy to give you directions!
Spot of exercise
We have workout equipment and an Elliptical, plus trails for running or walking
Day tripping
Easy day trips to downtown Zurich, Rapperswil, Luzern and the Alps for hiking
