About our home

Our gorgeous chalet was extensively renovated in 2008, part of former home of famous German novelist and Hollywood screen writer, Carl Zuckmayer. Retains all original features and comfortable stylish furnishings, the original larch timbers create a stunning yet homely holiday residence, full of historic character.9 rooms and 3 bathrooms spread over 2 floors. The chalet includes a Sauna & Steam room and one of the rooms features a 3d TV and a ps3 games console with a variety of games.there are stunning views of the surrounding mountains from nearly every window and the chalet is surrounded by a large garden.

It is situated in the 'Pearl of the Alps', Saas-Fee: This world-renowned, car-free glacier village lies on a high plateau 1800 metres above sea level, at the foot of the highest Swiss mountains, the Mischabel chain. Besides 100 km of ski slopes, a snowboard park, and 30 km of hiking trails, Saas-Fee offers lots more activities for young and old alike. Saas-Fee is the destination for sports enthusiasts from all over the world. Owing to the fact that no cars are allowed in this village, it has retained its romantic character, and the lively main street positively invites you to enjoy a gentle stroll round the shops. Activities in Saas Fee include skiing, hiking in both Summer and Winter, ice skating, sledging, tobogganing, cross country, ice climbing, tennis, visiting the Ice Pavilion. The bakery and shops are 200 metres away. If you have children the ski bus stop is only 1 minute from the front gate which takes you directly to the ski lifts and ski school. Skis and boots can be stored near the lift stations.

Other Activities: Tobogganing, Rollercoaster
