This is an amazing 4 bedroom unit at the very center of Taipei. It is 1400 square feet of lavish design. It is close to the thriving Yong Kong Street. The Yong Kong area is a favorite amongst international travelers.
Lishui unit is located in the very heart of Taipei. The closest MRTstation is Guting. It is close to the thriving Yong Kong Street. Yong Kong Street has the famous Ding Tai Fong Restaurant and other small eateries and restaurants. We are also very close to the Taipei Normal University. The apartments offers 4 Queen sized beds, furnished living room, fully equipped kitchen with dish dryer, washer and dryer for laundry, cable TV and free internet access.
You are first welcomed by a beautiful fountain sitting at the center of our semi circular foyer. There is also access to a nice outdoor balcony from the foyer. The balcony has built in bench seating and can accomodate 4-5 people very comfortably.
There is a flat screen TV in the Living room with a large L-shaped sofa. The dining room has a round dining table that can accommodate 6 people. The kitchen is a large open kitchen with microwave, fridge and dish dryer. There is also a washer and dryer in the balcony off of the kitchen.
There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are Queen sized beds in all of the bedrooms. The master bath has a bath tub and the guest bath has a large shower.
The Yong Kong area is a great area. The city planning in this area is more organic compared the the grid-like streets in the newer Xinyi district. The Newer Xinyi district is home to a lot of corporate offices and government buildings so the area closes around 7pm in the evening. The Yong Kong area by comparison doesn't rest and shops are opened until wea hours in the night. There is also the Shida night market nearby so there is a lot of action in this neighbourhood. There are also a lot of great restaurants here and a lot of them are listed in most tourguides to Taipei.
I am in my early thirties and have 2 young daughters; 4 and 20 months. My husband and I are both architects. I was born in Toronto and grew up there. I moved to New York to get my Masters in architecture at Pratt Institute. My husband went to Columbia University for his masters in Architecture. We moved to Taipei 6 years ago and have been living here since. I love to travel and experience new cities and I hope that this site will help take us to some new and exciting places.
