About our home

Kaskasi is a two storey hexagonal house about 50 metres from the beach on the east coast of Zanzibar. It has rendered walls under a local thatch roof. The upstairs is a big open veranda with wide sea views. There is a garden and a 7 metre sailing dhow can be made available. Two staff look after the garden and general chores. There is a Suzuki jeep that may be made available. There is also a one bedroom bungalow with bathroom and kitchen that can be made available separately if wanted.

Where is it?

Paje is a small fishing village on the east coast of Zanzibar. The house is on the edge of the village with easy access to shops etc. There are several hotels with bars and restaurants nearby. There are also many diving centres within easy reach. Paje has a long white tropical beach with clean sand and palm trees and is one of the best beaches on the east coast. Zanzibar Stone town is a world heritage site and is about 40 minutes away. Local people are friendly and Zanzibar is very safe.
