The house is in Nong Chom, San Sai, Chiang Mai; 12kms from, but easily accessible to, the city centre, in a quiet village.
The house is small and cozy (like a worker's cottage) and a single storey, 1 bedroom (approx 30m2) with air conditioning, 1 bathroom (shower only), a living room, Wi-Fi and a fully functioning kitchen. The house has a leafy garden with a small patio to sit and enjoy a nice wine or cold beer at night. The property is surrounded by a bamboo tree fence with a lockable gate, so you have complete privacy.
There is a covered carport.
The village has Thai restaurants, local Thai food takeaway shops, a fruit & veggie market, a 7-11, Tesco Lotus, hairdresser salon, laundromats and laundry shops.
Note - I do NOT have a TV or a washing machine, but there are laundromats nearby - both self-service (20 baht for one load) and full service (about $30 baht per kilo).
Transport wise, you'll need to hire a scooter or a car and there are many rental shops in town where you can rent a scooter for about 200 Baht per day; a car for about 800 Baht per day. However, you'll need to possess an international driver's license. I have a bicycle for use around the village. There is also GrabTaxi.
