Where is it?
Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, is a large city known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple. Nearby is Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire. From local street food to international fine dining, street markets to high end malls, bkk has it all and we love it. We are 15 mins from the BTS station Saphan Thaksin which is a main boat terminal for getting to any other river location.
The apartment is situated next to a popular night market attraction called Asiatique. There is local and International cuisine there and a range of night entertainment including Calypso Caberet and Muay Thai live. Chareonkrung is the oldest road in bangkok and is now very much up and coming.
Charoenkrung Road is transforming into a hot foodie destination. While Bangkok’s oldest road is famous for its street food, these five restaurants are bringing bold new flavors to the neighborhood:
