About our home

Happy to share our beautiful island getaway home in Koh Lanta Thailand with you!

Koh Lanta is an internationally famous tropical island with a dozen beautiful beaches.
Tourists from all parts of the world come here. It is very family oriented, Europeans bring small children here- no problem.

Our house sits in a small community of luxury homes, complete with gardens, a shared swimming pool, and fantastic views of the Andaman Sea.

Kantian Bay beach is 10 minutes walk away. The beach is beautiful, and very quiet. There are a handful of good and inexpensive restaurants on the beach. It is truly a small paradise. All of the sunset photos I have posted were taken from my terrace.

We have a shared swimming pool, which is used most of the time only by us. The gardens are professionally maintained. Internet is included.

    I lived for many years in Switzerland(Zurich) , now I am sort of retired in Thailand.
    I would much like to see Switzerland again, and show my new wife this beautiful country! So I would be very happy if we could arrange a swap.

    We are looking for a house/chalet within 50 km of the Lugano/Locarno, or anyplace in the Alps area, to swap for 3-6 weeks in the time period of early July 2017 to end of August, 2017. Flexible dates.

    I live in beautiful Koh Lanta- a tropical island in the south of Thailand.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

There are a dozen fine sand beaches to choose from. None are crowded, all are beautiful. Swimming is good.
The island is unspoiled- there are no high rise hotels, no loud music parties, no annoying beach vendors.

Excellent restaurants are to be found throughout the island. Many people prefer Koh Lanta to the other tourist islands because it is quiet and low key.

There are many things to do: Boat trips to 4 islands, snorkeling trips, kayak trips, elephant trekking, and a national park just down the road.

Koh Lanta island is just 25km long and 7km wide. It has only 2 main streets, so no traffic jams or noise.

One gets around with small motorbikes, which can be rented everywhere.

This is a very child friendly holiday place, with no danger.
