“Sunsets resort was still in development when we stayed in January 2020. Krishna was a fabulous host with his team, particularly Purcell, being super helpful at all times. He kindly let us try out the atvs on site and we had a fantastic stay. During our seven nights we had a few small issues such as running out of water, a few power cuts and WiFi problems but all of these things were sorted out by the hosts excellent team. The house is in a very remote location with wonderful sea views. A car is essential. The accommodation is very cute and once improvements are made, such as fixing a leaking toilet, repairing mosquito netting and making the front door locking system a little easier, it could be a little haven for someone seeking peace and tranquility. The host has a lot of big plans for the resort. Unfortunately the sports bar and grill were not open as we had expected but it looks as though it’ll be superb when it’s all done. Eventually there will be a water park, a lazy river , a zip line and a speciality chocolate shop but it feels as though it’ll be quite a long time before all these things are finished. I do think that 100 points per night is a more fair representation of the value of the accommodation compared to other properties we’ve seen and stayed in on the island rather than the 250 points per night that is now showing. We look forward to watching the resort’s ambitious development plans on its Facebook page. ”
