About our home

Our home is a newly built 3 bedroom detached house in a quiet residential area of similar properties. The house has a pleasant lounge with fire. There is a new kitchen with double oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The house has a seperate dining room which looks out over the back garden, and three bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite. There is also a family bathroom.

NB. The property is not yet completed so pictures are of the show house which is identical in design.

More about us

  1. Mark (45) works in Human Resources and Lynne (37) works in welfare. We both work full time currently but love travel, walking, skiing and wildlife. We do not currently have any pets, but love animals and may consider looking after pets by negotiation. We have no children, so there would only be two of us in our party. We have previously exchanged our home sucessfully and can provide references if needed. We would respect your home as we do our own.

We are planning an extended trip to New Zealand, Australia and Canada/USA in 2009 so would welcome offers to visit you at that time. We can be flexible and consider non simultaneous exchanges.

Where is it?

The wonderful cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen are all within reach for day trips. The countryside around provides wonderful opportunites for leisure. There are many golfcourses including St Andrews and Gleneagles within easy reach. The fishing villages of East Neuk of Fife, the angus glens and the majesty of Highland Perthshire are all close by. Watersports such as rafting and canoeing are available on the local rivers and lochs. Cycling is popular in the area and there are many trails. Nearby walks range from lovely countryside strolls to more challenging mountain walks (including munros). And of course, a large number of castles, stately homes and gardens are also close by. In winter, skiing and winter sports are available at Glenshee and Aviemore.
