About our home

Villa Juanita Garden Apartment - set in a stunning rural location in the hills overlooking the village of Kalkan on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. Kalkan is 1 & 1/2 hours drive from Dalaman Airport. Transfer or car hire can be arranged. The house was built new in 2003. Although there is no pool we are close to various beaches and beach clubs. The village is 20 minutes walk down hill, so a hire car would be a good idea. If not there are plenty of taxis.
Kalkan is a village primarily dedicated to high end tourism in the summer. There is a Harbour with numerous day trip boats also many first class restaurants and bars. There is also plenty of opportunity for retail therapy.
Kalkan is situated in the middle of cultural turkey with many ancient sites within easy reach. It is also close to the birthplace of St Nicholas (who now seems to reside in Lapland!) and is where the legend of Santa Clause originated.
We are ideally situated for keen walkers as we are bang in the middle of the Lycian Way with numerous routes through the mountains and along the coast and all within easy reach.
