Our home is a spacious (62 m2) 1 bedroom apartment in the Greens, one on the nicest areas of Dubai. We call our life resort like living and this is why:
Our building has a lovely private courtyard with a large temperature controlled swimming pool (with a lifeguard), a smaller children pool, a fully equipped gym, a basketball court, a barbeque area and a children playground.
Apartment consists of a bedroom (double bed plus additional single bed available), living room (sleeps 1), open plan kitchen, bathroom and balcony. It has all modern amenities – air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, 42” LCD TV with cable TV, high speed WIFI internet, private parking. Weekly cleaning service is optional.
In short – everything is already in place for you to come and enjoy a wonderful vacation in Dubai!
Our neighbourhood Greens is a quiet, family friendly area in a central location (just 5 minutes drive from the beach, Dubai Marina, Mall of Emirates, Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Living Golf club).
It is very pedestrian friendly with beautifully landscaped paths, lake and small neibourhoud shopping centre (with cafes, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, beauty salons etc) and access to public transportation buses.
Dubai metro is brand new, safe and fast way to see the city and the metro station is just short walk from our building.
We are a couple in our forties, originally from Serbia and Croatia, now living in Dubai since 2005. Boki is a TV producer who owns its own media production and Ksenija is a HR project manager. Boki loves music and movies and Ksenija is a keen reader. We are both very passionate about traveling and experiencing new cultures.
We speak English and Serbo-Croatian fluently, and a bit of French and German.
“Ksenija and Boki were very easy to work with, and their home is cozy and relaxing, with a comfortable bed and a nice balcony. I spent a week in Dubai, and found their place conveniently located to many attractions. It's equally close to Palm Jumeirah, Marina Mall and Emirates Mall. I also used the community gym which was helpful. Would happily stay again. ”
“We had a very pleasant stay in Dubai, even enough place for a family of 5. We got the chance to meet Ksenija in person. She gave us with lots of very useful information about what to do in Dubai during Ramadan time. The pool on the property was great, with 27C and open until 10 pm. We were very grateful that we could use 2 beach sun umbrellas when we went out for a beach day. This was our first swap and it couldn´t have been better. ”

“Ksenija and Boki hosted us for 9 days and they helped us to feel home in Dubai! We really enjoyed their property, the pool and the green area around!She gave us many information and we used this metro card to travel around! We didn´t missed the car because Metro and Busses are very efficient and not far from the property. Boki also dropped us to the metro for our departure...super nice and very appreaciated! “We had an amazing time for New Year at Ksenija’s and Boki’s! Their place is homely and well situated. Close to an amazing park with lakes and nice walks. The close by restaurants and shopping centre are a real bonus. Ksenija and Boki are a lovely couple and very kind and friendly. They left us an amazing christmas tree and gifts, which was really sweet. They provided extensive information about places to visit during the festive period and were always in touch to assist us, although they did not have to.”

As I was staying in my Gite close by, we had the opportunity to spend some time together, and I really enjoyed their company. They are both smart, interesting, well travelled and good fun. They also left the house in perfect condition. I wouldn’t hesitate to host them again.”
We are a couple in our forties with no children. Having lived in Dubai for 16 years, in 2021 we have moved to Mannheim, Germany
