About our home

Fantastic villa set in residential Arabian Ranches just outside of Dubai town. The villa has 3 bedrooms plus en-suite maids room, DSTV with 50" plasma tv, internet, solar heated swimming pool with bar inside, and lovely shade provided by sails. It has air conditioning, usual appliances such as washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc. We have a maid service 3 days a week, gardeners and pool cleaner. Master bedroom has an Emperor Size Bed and the two guest rooms have King Sized Beds. You will find a large single bed in the downstairs maids room, which also has an en-suite bathroom - ideal for a teenager.

We have lived in Dubai for 27 years and were happy to buy our own home here a couple of years ago when the Government made it possible for expats to own their own places. We have designed our own pool with bar inside with stools in the pool and stools in the dry if you don't want to get wet. There is plenty of shade around the pool and jacuzzi jets in the pool and a wonderful seahorse water feature called Horace, which is short for the old seafarer, Horatio Nelson. We have landscaped the garden with many plants and fruit trees such as dates, banannas, olive, mandarins, lemon, fig and mangoes, although it is so new we haven't had any fruit -yet! There are a million things to do and see in and around Dubai and I would be happy to give a list of them with their websites.

My husband has spent most of his life in the oilfields around Dubai and I am a Relocation Manager. Our children grew up here and live quite close. Its an incredibly safe and beautiful place to live, although it does get too hot in the summer months from July to September.
