We live in a very comfortable 4-bed/2 bed family home in a semi-rural setting, combining good local facilities with a tranquil environment, and fine country walking. The house is equipped with most modern conveniences. The sitting room looks out to the garden and the lovely view beyond. We have a large well-equipped kitchen-diner for our busy family life, and all bedrooms are well furnished and welcoming.
We are Jonny and Amanda...this would be our first exchange but we want to use the opportunity to show our two children another part of the world. We are looking for a like-minded family to help facilitate this exchange!
We are 5 miles south of Salisbury, known best for its Cathedral (celebrates its 750th Anniversary this year). Keep going south and you will end up in Bournemouth/Poole with plenty of white sandy beaches. Head south-west and you have easy access to Dorset with its Jurassic coastline, and Somerset/Bath. Within just a few miles of our house is the world-famous New Forest with its wild ponies, cattle, and pigs?.and great walking and biking. For shopping enthusiasts we have Bath, Southampton, and Winchester all close by?.and Salisbury is on a mainline train route to London, making day trips easy (85 minutes each way). We are also only 30 minutes from Southampton Airport with flights to Paris, Dusseldorf, Zurich, the Channel Islands and many holiday destinations in France and Spain.
