About our home

Our family home is spacious and comfortable with attractive traditional features and oak floors throughout. There are 5 large bedrooms upstairs, one with an en suite. The sitting room and kitchen diner both have open fire places and the majority of the house has underfloor heating. Downstairs, in addition to the large kitchen diner and sitting room there is a small sun room and 2 studies, one that also contains a spare bed, and a large shower room.
The house is light and airy with large French windows opening from the sitting room onto the garden. The main bedroom also has French windows overlooking the garden.

Where is it?

The house is in Verwood, a small town 25 minutes from the resort of Bournemouth and its 6 miles of sandy beaches. We are also only 15 minutes from the New Forest, fantastic for walking, cycling and horse riding. We are an hour from the beautiful rolling countryside of the Purbecks and the famous Jurassic Coast. 15 minutes north is Cranborne Chase, another area well worth exploring on foot or bike. We are within easy reach of London, with day trips possible. The towns of Salisbury and Winchester are both within easy reach, as is Stonehenge.
