About our home

Our home is a four bedroom detached house. We use 3 bedrooms. The fourth bedroom is now our little office which also contains a treadmill. The main bedroom has an en suite and there is a decent size family bathroom. Downstairs, we have a separate toilet, lounge leading into a garden room which overlooks the garden and also has a flat screen TV. The kitchen diner is open plan and also has patio doors leading into the garden room.
It is a quiet cul- de- sac with friendly helpful neighbours.

Neighbourhood

The house is detached and is situated at the end of a cul de sac. We overlook fields at the back. There is a decent size garden with a pond which is stocked with various fish.
There is ample parking to the front and also a double garage at the back. We are not too far from a bus stop, where buses come through every 20 minutes to Witney and Oxford. There are also buses going to Swindon which is a large shopping centre. From Oxford one can catch a bus to London, plus other cities and the London airports.
We are on the outskirts of the Cotswolds which is a beautiful part of England, close to Burford and tiny villages such as Bourton on the Water which has a tiny model village and is very picturesque.
Carterton is the 2nd largest town in West Oxfordshire and is about 2 miles south of the A40 and 4 miles south west of Witney. The town is on the edge of the Thames Valley.
