About our home

Our beautiful apartment is in a 100 year old mansion block. It has a spectacular outlook on the Thames at Richmond Bridge. High ceilinged rooms are filled with light. Funishings are contemporary. Modern kitchen and bathrooms. Nice art. Great location for exploring London and / or the south of England.

  1. Martha is a university lecturer. Ray is a retired construction IT specialist. We usually travel on our own or with another couple. We often visit Family in Canada, and are interested in exchanges in Vancouver, and also in cottages all over the country. We love visiting cities around the world too.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Richmond is a beautiful area in the South-West of London. The river Thames runs through it, there are beautiful walks, and the amazing Kew Gardens is on your doorstep. There are beautiful country houses and palaces to explore in the area, including Hampton Court Palace, Marble Hill, Strawberry Hill and Ham Houses. The National Records Office is nearby in Kew.

Our immediate neighbourhood has restaurants, cinemas & shopping on your doorstep.

Richmond has excellent Tube and train connections to all parts of London: South Kensington for Victoria & Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums; Waterloo station for the South Bank Arts Centre; tube or train for Central London and services to Greenwich, Tate Modern, and many other iconic destinations.
