About our home

The original part of our house dates back over 250 years. As a result, we are in a never ending phase of renovation and redecoration - but nearly there! There are stone, tile and wooden floors on the ground floor and carpets upstairs. The house comprises a large family kitchen with AGA cooker, walk in pantry and utility room, main lounge, dining room, large study/reading room, TV room, toilet/shower room and boot room/conservatory. Upstairs are the bedrooms and bathrooms. The main bedroom is very big with dressing room and ensuite toilet and bathroom. The garden is about 1 acre laid to lawn with outside dining and sitting area shaded by an old vine.

Access to London and Oxford is easy by car or by rail to London. the beautiful Chilterns are on the doorstep and the Cotswolds a short drive away.

The popular market town of Thame is 7 minutes drive away.

There are many good restaurants, pubs and fine dining all within easy distance.

The village is quiet and friendly with a good family friendly pub.
