About our home

Our home was converted from the village Victorian high school in 2009 by architects retaining the Victorian features, but making the internal a contemporary fabulous light, bright, spacious family home in the Trossachs, near Loch Lomond, in Central Scotland.

We are fantastically situated to explore all of Central and West Scotland, Loch Lomond is 15 mins away, Glasgow 40 mins and Edinburgh 60 mins. Loch Lomond, The Trossachs Park, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument are only 20 mins by car.

We have three ski resorts within 2 hours drive from the house. Local facilities include our own local golf course 5mins walk from our house, we can make my husbands clubs available, famous golf courses, such as The Carrick, Loch Lomond, Gleneagles and Buchanan Castle. We have a community swimming pool 200 meters away. Our local Park which is 2mins from our house has swings etc for children.

We have four bedrooms, 1 super King en-suit, 2 king size doubles, and one teenage single room with opportunity to extend into a twin if required.

Our kitchen and main living room is open plan, seating 8 with sky, internet TV, wifi and sound bar.

We have a separate 6 seated TV room/office with DVD, internet TV, a large selection of films and board games. Wifi is throughout the house and a further smart TV is in the master bedroom. Controllable under floor heating throughout ground floor, with separate controllable heating upstairs.

Private sunny patio, seating area, dining table, sun loungers and patio chiminea for cooler evenings. Two adult bikes, one child bike for aged 12-14. further bikes can be borrowed from friends if required as we did on a previous swap.

We are happy to swap our car with sat nav given the right insurance documentation to ensure you can explore Scotland to its fullest.
