About our home

Our home is in a quiet cul-de-sac in the small town of Ballymoney 12 miles from the beautiful north coast of Northern Ireland. Our home has a large lounge with wood burning stove, kitchen with dining area, study/music room, bathroom with shower, bedroom with en suite bathroom and two other double bedrooms. It has a large garden with forested area. It is an ideal base to explore The Giants Causeway (15 mins drive) the beautiful surfing beaches of Portrush and Portstewart, the famous Glens of Antrim and Ballycastle where the ancient Lammas Fair is held each year. It is 45 minutes drive from Belfast and the new Titanic Centre as well as the vibrant night life and tourists attractions of the major city in Northern Ireland. The house is close to 6 major links golf courses including Royal Portrush (10 miles) where the course record was set by a teenage Rory McIlroy and is home to Darren Clarke and Graham McDowell and where the Irish Open was held in 2012.
A two hour drive provides opportunity for some fine hill walking in the Mourne Mountains or Donegal where traditional Irish music and dance are nightly entertainment in local pubs. The famous West coast of Sligo, Galway, Connemara and Kerry are all within driving distance and Dublin can be reached in 2 hours with the new motorway network.
