About our home

Welcome to our spacious, well-loved family house within walking distance of Bath city centre. There's plenty of room for the family: a large kitchen/diner, roomy lounge (with log burner) and 3 double bedrooms plus a twin kids' room (beds divided by a bookcase, so more like two separate rooms). The house is surrounded by gardens, front and back, and there is a great terrace at the back to enjoy the evening sun. The house is located in the village of Larkhall, which is friendly and picturesque and has pubs, a butchers, greengrocers and even a little theatre. You can stroll to Bath centre along the canal in 25 minutes or get a bus in 10. Alternatively, you can walk into beautiful countryside from our front door - stunning hill walks with views across the Cotswolds. If the weather's good, it's a short walk to the river to enjoy a swim (one of our favourite things to do)! For the kids, Alice Park is directly opposite the house - a fantastic park with a cafe, tennis courts and play equipment. We love it here and hope you will too!

Where is it?

Bath is a great place to visit at any time of the year: attractions include the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent, the Holburne Museum, Bath Abbey and the Jane Austen centre. Larkhall is an area of Bath which is really more of a village - a safe and friendly area which has the benefit of being on the doorstep of lovely countryside as well as very close to the city.
