“We had a great stay at Emma’s beautiful and very comfortable house. It was very well placed for access to central Bath on a quiet no through road. Parking was quite easy as Emma arranged a residents permit. Communication was straightforward despite the complications of Covid. Thankyou Emma”

About our home
We are currently looking for a weekend house swap in November 2020 (UK) and a house swap over the New Year period (please no groups)
Our Bath stone Edwardian town house provides the best of both worlds, beautiful period features but with a modern rear extension providing open plan living and bi-fold doors on to the patio and garden. We are just a 15 minute walk to Royal Victoria Park and a further 10 minutes to the Royal Crescent and the centre of the unique World Heritage city of Bath.
Our house has two living rooms complete with SKY & internet TVs. Our modern kitchen has a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a whole host of other kitchen appliances. There are three double bedrooms, a single bedroom with two single beds plus a child's bedroom with bunk beds. We have a downstairs bathroom, a family bathroom and an en-suite. If you are bringing a small child/children we also have a high chair and toys. During the summer we have rattan garden furniture and a large BBQ which you can use. We are also happy to swap our car (A VW Golf).
Bath offers a unique experience with stunning architecture, great shopping and attractions. You will find the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, a whole host of Georgian architecture, English pubs, and a vast selection of shops and restaurants. Within an hour you can reach the Cotswolds, Stonehenge, the cathedral city of Wells and the country - Wales. We are only an hour and a half to the South Coast and just a 15 minute train ride to the city of Bristol. For more information on Bath city visit Bath Tourist Site: http://visitbath.co.uk/
Getting to central London is straight forward - it is an hour and a half hour by train/100 miles on the motorway.
Our house is in a lovely neighbourhood with shops and cafes just 5-minutes away. We also have some fantastic neighbours who are on hand to help should you have any questions during your stay.

Emma's reviews
As a host (9)“This property was extremely comfortable and we spent a very enjoyable long weekend here. There was ample room and the kitchen/diner/outside area was especially nice and where we spent most of our time. Emma and Mark left us comprehensive information about the house so that all ran smoothly. We enjoyed our time in central Bath - which was easily accessible by Uber ( or bus from the end of the road) and there were also some lovely shops and cafes within walking distance. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and a special thanks Emma and Mark for accommodating us at short notice. ”
“What a beautiful home, in a truly beautiful part of the world! I had a fantastic stay in Emma and Mark's place, and they couldn't have been more gracious hosts. All worked out wonderfully :)”
“I hVe been in Emma house with my 2 daughters, it has been a wonderful holiday also thanks to the kindness of our host. The house is incredible, full of everything you might need. Wonderful. Very near to the bus station and to shops. Thanks Emma! We would like to come back! Silvia.”
“We had a wonderful stay in Emma & Marks lovely house in Bath. The house was very comfortable and in a great location close to town. Emma was easy to communicate with and helpful throughout the swap. Thank you both!”
“We had a wonderful stay at Emma’s The house was beautiful and well suited to hosting 3 couples and 2 babies. I would highly recommend this property for a swap to the amazing city of Bath”
“We loved the house. It's furnished beautifully and perfectly clean and comfortable. Emma communicated well, and left relevant instructions. We had a BBQ, enjoying the garden and patio. Particularly lovely was Emma's gorgeous toiletries that she left for us to use. Emma also arranged for us to have a parking permit for two cars. It's close to a large park where the kids had 'their' time before we dragged them around the shops! We did get taxi's (easy) although you could walk the 20- 30 mins into town. We would definitely stay again, perfect for families and friends. ”
“We stayed here for a long weekend in the summer and it exceeded all our expectations. It suited our needs perfectly and the house was immaculate. Its really comfortable, all the creature comforts and its very similar to staying in a hotel as it was so neat and tidy. We loved staying in this beautiful house while enjoying shopping in Bath and its very near to Victoria Park which the children spent hours in. ”
“We were very happy with all aspects of our trip and a good time was had by all. Everything was just as described and the hosts communication was very useful.”
