“My parents had a great stay at Sandra's house. The bungalow was fantastic and brilliantly equipped with a lovely garden and sunroom that you could sit outside in and soak up the evening sun. It's very quiet in the village and you would definitely need a car to get around. My folks caught the bus into Norwich as there is a bus stop in the village and found the transport very easy to navigate. Communication with Sandra was excellent and we couldn't have asked for more from this swap. Thank you!”
Sandra's reviewsAs a host (3)
“Sandra and Ken's home is wonderful, very comfortable and well equipped. We'd seen pictures of the garden and looked forward to being in the countryside but weren't quite prepared for the gorgeous sunsets from the patio. Wild rabbits hopped around the front garden and lots of other wildlife too. We had a chance to relax while our girls were busy playing on the trampoline and climbing frame. The area has a huge number if family friendly attractions. We walked into the village of Seething and discovered a Norman church, thatched roof and a door 1000 years old. We particularly enjoyed Fairhaven Water Gardens, reasonably priced with the option to go on a boat trip on a broad. The bear hunt there kept our 4 year old keen for 4 miles of lush pathways. Thanks again! ”
“We had a wonderful stay in Sandra’s modern, comfortable, spacious, well equipped, very quiet and peaceful family bungalow. Situated just a few miles south of Norwich yet in the country with a large garden and next to a small forest shared with the few neighbours it has expansive views over the Norfolk farmland. We were delighted to see pheasant, quail, baby rabbits and even a small deer wandering in the garden. Sandra was very easy to communicate with and thoughtfully left us some essentials in the refrigerator for our late arrival. I would very highly recommend Sandra’s Homestay, it was brilliant.”
Where is it?
Nestled in a quiet village yet only 20 minutes from a busy, exciting city of Norwich. There is a lovely village shop 5 minutes walk away next to the village pond. The nearest town Loddon is 5 minutes by car or a picturesque old town Bungay is 10 minutes by car. We are on a bus route but very few buses, the buses run frequently from Loddon or Brooke which are both 5 minutes away. Trains from Norwich to London are every hour and take 2 hours. We are a short drive from lots of beaches such as Lowestoft, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth. A 40 minute drive and your at the beaches of Southwold, Walberswick or head up to beautiful North Norfolk for their villages and beaches.
