The village of Mells, which dates back to the 11th century, is thought to be one of the prettiest in Somerset. It has an award winning pub, the Talbot Inn, a village shop and cafe, a church and many historic buildings. The cottage is located five minutes from Babington House and 30 minutes from the Roman city of Bath. Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat and Stonehenge are all within an hour's drive away.
