Luxury newly built 3 storey townhouse within easy walking distance of the Stray and the town centre in the historic spa town of Harrogate. High spec and tasteful décor – the house was built as a show home. 3 bedrooms each with ensuite shower room. Large open plan living / dining / kitchen area overlooking the garden.Separate living room on first floor. Private parking . The house is very well equipped with underfloor heating, dishwasher, washer-dryer, home music system, built in wardrobes, cable TV and fast WiFi . Quiet residential street. We are a 2 minute walk to the Stray and a 10 minute walk to the town centre.

Harrogate is a beautiful and historic spa town, a popular tourist destination on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales .Internationally renowned, It recently hosted the World Road Cycling Championships., It is famous for its wide range of independent shops, bars, theatres, restaurants and cafes, including the famous Bettys Tea Rooms. The town has many green, open spaces including the 200 acre Stray , Valley Gardens and Harlow Carr Gardens. It hosts international music, writing and theatre festivals each year. There are easy train links to York and Leeds (40 mins}. Within 15 mins you can be in the open countryside of the Yorkshire Dales with stunning scenery and walks. The Lake District and the North Yorkshire coast are also in easy reach. There is a direct train to London Kings Cross / St Pancras in 3 hours where you can also catch the Eurostar to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. Leeds airport is a 30 min drive away , with direct flights to a range of European cities including Amsterdam, Dublin and Prague.

More about us

  1. We are a couple who have taken early retirement in order to move to our dream location of Harrogate and to travel more (Neal was a finance manager, Lisa a University careers coach). We have 2 grown up sons.

  2. We are fairly new to home exchange (1 swap so far) and we are looking for a direct swap .

  3. We think our home would especially suit couples, singles or adult families (no kids or pets please). Please contact us if you would like any more information about us, available dates or our home.

Harrogate is a beautiful and lively town , famous for its range of independent shops, restaurants and hotels.. It is very walkable with plenty of historic buildings and open green spaces. Within 15 minutes walk from our home you can access many dozens of restaurants, theatres and cinemas, take afternoon tea at the famous Bettys or stroll around 200 acres of Stray parkland. There are many international festivals held here each year inluding literature, music and cycling. It is one of the most popular places in the UK for British people to spend a weekend.
