Outstanding home, completely re-modernised within the last three years. Clean, large rooms with an exceptional kitchen/diner.
Situated on a peninsular , between Wales and North England.Within minutes of the beach , numerous golf courses (including the International Course at Royal Liverpool in Hoylake) and good shopping areas. Short 20minutes travel brings you into two excellent heritage areas of Chester and Liverpool; with a variety museums ;theatres; entertainment.
Two local airports allow easy access routes to all European countries for a few days holiday or longer.
Situated half way between Scotland and London there are easy transport links to cities of your choice.
For walkers or explorers there are areas to enjoy in The Lake District or Snowdonia.
There is such a diverse selection of activities to enjoy on the Wirral Peninsular alone.

Both Sandra, and John were both truly very welcoming hosts, and stayed in touch to make sure that everything was running without problems. “A fabulous location with West Kirby local and then the hustle and bustle of Liverpool just across the water, great having the local train station within walking distance to save taking the car. We had a fun filled 4 nights in Sandra’s lovely home, a beautiful mix of period character with a wonderful barn style huge, kitchen, diner and Iiving area with all mod cons. Thank you for a great stay x”

From the moment i began comunicating with Sandra and John it felt like a friendship.We were made to feel very welcome and at home.We had the pleasure of meeting them both personally and they were as gracious and accomodating on meeting them at their home.The home can only be discribed as a labour of love .Old meets modern and very tastfully furnished,very comfortable and in a lovely area and location.Lots of day trips from this area Chester we would recommend ,those that dont have a car ,the train station is a mere stroll down the road .All in all we had a fantastic stay here in this wonderful home and Liverpool itself is a modern buzzy city with fantastic shopping mall liverpool one .Do not hesitate to swap with these friendly ,accomodating couple Sandra and John thank you so much xx”
“This house is super clean and gorgeous inside and out! The gardens are as nice as any you pay to see! The neighborhood is upscale and quiet. From here, you can walk to the train station. Liverpool can be reached by this train or you can take the "ferry cross the Mersey"! Other side trips we enjoyed were to Chester, northern Wales, Port Sunlight, and Southport. Sandra left a notebook full of information regarding the use of appliances and things to do in the area. Additionally she was always responsive via email. We had a rental car which we used for grocery shopping, but a bus runs right in front of the house. Off street parking was a plus, too. Thanks again for a great swap!”
