About our home

Our lovely family home is part of a great neighbourhood in the pretty commuter town of Bishop's Stortford. The town is compact and very family friendly, with lots of play parks and green spaces, a sports centre and great shops and restaurants. It's in the middle of some beautiful countryside, with many pretty and historic towns and villages close by. It's also only 38 minutes from London Liverpool Street by train, 10 minutes from Stanstead (not under the flight path), 40 minutes from Cambridge and just under an hour to Olympic Park.

Downstairs our home has large hall (plenty of room for a couple of buggies), a good sized lounge and a large kitchen diner with french doors leading out onto well-equipped south facing garden. Upstairs there's one double bedroom, a childrens bedroom with a cot and a cot bed and a small single bedroom/ study, as well as the bathroom. We're on a quiet street less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of town or the train station.
