Idyllic apartment in 17th Century mansion house set in 19 acres of parklands

Unique and beautiful third floor apartment with fabulous views across park-like grounds and estate farmland. We have three large character bedrooms with fireplaces and a shower/steam room to the master bedroom. A particular feature is the beamed sitting room which also has a piano, and the guest bedroom with open fireplace and double roll top bath. We have a beautiful children's bedroom with numerous toys and books, cot and child bed. House is fully equipped for children. We have four bikes, one with child seat.
Two cars are available as an option, one is a Classic convertible Mercedes 500SL, great for cruising the coast. Everyone who stays here loves it and they all say they sleep the best they ever have! We have 19 acres of grounds with a lake and river running through them. Wonderful for picnics and walks in private surroundings.
The house is historically very important - Hurn Court was built in the Elizabethan era on a site previously occupied by a monastic dwelling associated with Christchurch Priory. The land came into the ownership of the Earls of Malmsbury in the 1700's, who created what was then referred to as Heron Court as their country seat. The property has had long association with many notable figures, in particular the composer George Frederick Handel, Lord Nelson, the author Henry Fielding (later a Lord of Admiralty and Treasury) and the famed Edwardian 'hostess' Lily Langtry!
