About our home

We have lived in our first home for the past 2 years and find the positioning perfect for our everday needs. We live set back from the centre of the town, but is easily reached by a 20 minute bus ride (they come every 10 minutes) or a 10 minute car drive. This great location also gives you instant access to the Sussex Countryside, and surrounding areas. Perfect for an eager traveller to explore everything the South East has to offer.
Our house is hidden away on the entry to Brighton, but provides instant access to begin any roadtrip around the county and the house is easily reached in under 30 minutes from London Gatwick

We live in a large village, but the original charm remains with a village hall, tea rooms and local bakers. Why not take an evening stroll, ending up in the Peace gardens with a book and dinner from the fish and chip shop, or locally produced food from the deli. Then take a short taxi ride into town to indulge in the world famous night scene, catch a play at the Theatre Royale or intimate gig at the Concorde 2.

Some adventures for you to try whilst you are here~
*Be a tourist and spend the day walking the seafront, eating fish and chips, playing in the arcades on the world famous Palace Pier and watching the sun go down at one of many bars
*Take a fishing boat out in the channel from the Marina
*Stroll through the famous shopping lanes, and splurge in the cute boutiques, pick your favourite chocolate from Choccywoccydoodah or get your thrifty hat on in all the vintage shops
*be on a ferry to France within 20 minutes, why not take a short break to Paris?
*Afternoon roast in the country? You have Sussex downs on your doorstep
*Be in the heart of london in under 50 minutes by train (rail links within a 2 minute drive)
*throw sticks at the original pooh bridge, and go for tea and scones in Piglets cafe after
*Bike riding over the seven sisters, or kayaking up the cuckmere river
*Visit Windsor Castle
