About our home

Our lovely house is located right in the center of Brighton's North Laine, surrounded by little shops, restaurants, pubs and other interesting places. There is so much to do in Brighton, we have been living here for two years since moving from London and we still feel we discover it again and again every weekend. Here are some of the activities to do and places to visit: the beach and water sports, sailing, fishing, golf, tennis, horse racing, greyhound racing, Brighton football stadium (go Seagulls!), Brighton Pavilion Palace. The Royal theater is just 5 minutes walk and the oldest and coolest cinema in UK is 10 minutes walk. There are plenty of art galleries if you like art and different workshops locally - including sculpture, painting, cupcake decorating, wine tasting etc. We have two bikes you could use to cycle down to Brighton Marina or the local fish shop where you could get the best selection of seafood, Brighton is considered to be a vegetarian city with the best vegetarian restaurant in UK but there are so many other good restaurants and gastro pubs where you could try some great dishes made of locally produced ingredients. There are also a couple of good wine shops/bars where they do wine tasting and the cheese shop does both!
You could also rent a car right around the corner from us and drive to some of the beautiful south downs villages, go horse riding and enjoy the views, visit local brewery, British vineyards, they produce great Sussex sparkling wine! Brighton is also a very much a music city - there are dozens of gigs happening every night, you could always find one to your choice! My husband has an extensive collection of records so you could listen some great tunes at home chilling on the terrace in the afternoon sun, have a  BBQ, enjoy a glass of wine or local ale!
If you want to venture out of Brighton you could take a train to London, the train station is three minutes walk, there are regular quick trains which will take 50 minutes to get you to the center of London. Brighton is the first/last station so you will always get a sit and it is also very quite, there are no noisy trains)
We are very passionate about Brighton and our home, we hope that you will love it here too!

Best wishes,
Olga & Jonathan
