About our home

Rottingdean Place was a former convent built circa 1830, it was converted to luxery flats in 1984 and sits within the South Downs National Park. Situated in 20 acres of beautiful private grounds with a 24-hour access indoor heated swimming pool (15m), full sauna & small gym with running, rowing, spinning machines & cross trainer, there is also an outdoor tennis court.

The grounds are stunning with walkways through woods, alongside the downs with sea views and horses everywhere. There is even a golf tee and a 17th century cemetery.

Bus stops directly outside complex take you into beautiful & chic Brighton city centre in 20-30 mins or 1 mile walk through medieval village of Rottingdean & get bus along coast road to Brighton Pier in 10 mins.

Brighton is very well connected by train to London with fast services taking 50 mins to London Victoria and trains to London running every 10 mins during peak.

This is a truly outstanding & highly unique accommodation set in some of the most beautiful English coastal countryside, with castles & famous towns within just a few miles, 1 mile from the beach and just moments from one of the coolest & most vibrant cities in the UK.

Brighton has a famous art, theatre & music scene with live entertainment everyday of the week & every week of the year. The town of Lewes is only 4 miles away, a historic town & home to the famous revolutionary writer Thomas Payne.

The seaside village of Rottingdean just 1 mile away was home to Rudyard Kipling and is a picture book English village with very old buildings, churches, typical English gardens and 500 year old pubs.

The flat has newly fitted kitchen & bathroom, central heating throughout, all modern appliances. 42" LCD TV in lounge, Wii, DVD player, Cable TV, 3 different iPod ports with speakers. Large lounge with french doors onto private patio facing the inner courtyard with fountain etc. The double bedroom is a good size & has 32" LCD TV.
