About our home

This is a cosy, comfortable and traditional Victoria terraced house. There are three bedrooms, one of which is currently used as an office (fully equipped with computer and broadband). There is a working fireplace in the living room and gas central heating for the whole house. There is a wide screen TV, DVD player and music system in the living room. The kitchen has a washing machine, cooker, fridge freezer, toaster and oven (along with all the usual pans, crockery, etc). We have two cats, who would also be here during your stay. They are very friendly and low-maintenance, but would need to be fed twice daily.

More about us

  1. My partner and I are both creative professionals (a journalist and a graphic designer). We've lived in London, Sydney, San Francisco and have now been in Brighton for ten years. We've never done a home exchange before but are keen to give it a try, having heard great things from friends and family who've done it!

Where is it?

The house is situated in a quiet, Victorian residential street but is only a ten-minute walk from the beach, the South Downs (England's newest National Park) and the bars, shops and restaurants of Brighton's trendy Kemptown district. Brighton city centre and station are a 15 minute bus ride (or 5 minute drive) away. The great thing about this location is that we are close to all the great amenities of Brighton but - being on the edge of the city - we are also close to the countryside.
