About our home

I am a designer and artist and rescued my home 12 years ago from rack and ruin. It feels like a cross between a rural farmhouse and a classy town villa. It is decorated in an eclectic style with antique and vintage wallpapers, oddities, antiques and quirks picked up from my travels and my imagination. . It is comfortable with a beautiful sitting room full of light and an open fireplace; and is very quiet at the back of the house which leads out onto a large (for the inner city) garden with a terrace and trees. This area is one of the trendiest in the UK and is the artist's quarter in Bristol with lots of Bristol's best cafes and bars . Great for Banksy spotting and for striking out on foot to find every thing else that Bristol has to offer with its vibrant cultural scene, waterside and stunning architecture. Bath is half and hours drive away or 10 minutes on the train. The Cotswolds, Devon, Glastonbury and Wells are an hours drive away, Wales is across the bridge and London is 2 hours by train or 2.5 hours by car.
