About our home

There is a gorgeous kitchen-diner living space with large velum roof windows and huge bifold doors opening to the garden. This is a bright and light space.

There is also a separate living room which is cool and cosy. It is carpeted with lots of cushions. Perfect for TV and chilling after a busy day.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (there is a 3rd bedroom which belongs to the host when there are no guests) and a bathroom.

There is a walk in modern power shower and in the other bathroom there is a bath.

There is space for luggage/ prams/ shoes near the front door and space to hang jackets on hooks in the downstairs bathroom next to the front door.

Neighbourhood

Location: A very pleasant 10 minutes walk from Temple Meads station (across the river via Valentine bridge). Also only 10 mins to Cabot Circus shops, cinemas and restaurants or 5 mins to Old market bars or 3 local breweries.

Community:
This is usually a quiet community, I live in a quiet road with a mix of older and younger adults.
The area is interesting with cobbles and paved streets and a home zone design to ensure that traffic moves through it slowly and carefully.
It’s got a great local pub called The Barley Mow.

Check out 'Visit Bristol' on You Tube - it's a father excellent tourism video about Bristol if you want a quick visual taster of what Bristol has to offer:

Walks in the park
There is a lovely Children's park and ball court in the next street. Family friendly: Please let me know if you are bringing younger children and I can get out toys for them. I have books, puzzles and a play kitchen in the house :-)

Day tripping
I have a private driveway at the front of my house so if you want to bring or hire a car that is fine. The area is in a residents parking zone so street parking is not allowed without a permit - but you are fine as you can park on my drive :-) You can walk into town, to Cabot or to temple meads easily from this house. You can get a train up to Clifton or get the fast train (London route) to Bath and you can be in Bath city centre in 15 mins from temple meads or Cardiff (Wales) in less than an hour.
