About our home

We live in a beautiful victorian town house only ten minutes on foot from Bristol City Center. It has many period features a working log fire place in the livingroom. The livingroom is cosy with a large bay window that looks out towards the street. The diningroom has a 6-person dining table and an up-right piano. The kitchen is large with a small pantry attached to it.

There are 4 bedrooms - one ensuite shower room with king-sized bed and another bedroom with a double bed. There is a large family bathroom with a bath tub as well as a separate toilet room. There is a double futon bed in the third bedroom. The fourth bedroom is used as a study. All bedrooms are large rooms with sliding windows.

There is also a garden in the back with decked area, sitting area and a little lawned area. If weather permits, there is a barbecue which you can use.

There are two mountain bikes in the basement.

Cotham is a popular area with many shops, restaurants and pubs nearby.

Bristol is a lovely city with a huge history. Days out are easy with only 15 minutes train to Bath and less than an hour drive to beaches in Wales. There are many country walks 30-60 min drive from where we are and London is less than 2 hours by train. The local train station connects to Temple meads (to go to other cities) and is less than 10 minutes walk from our house.
