About our home

Our lovely 'old coach house', converted into an 'upside down' home in 1988 and extended by us in 2014, overlooks the beautiful and ever changing fells and offers a rural retreat close to the National Park but within driving distance of the market towns of Ulverston and Broughton-in-Furness.

With 3 double bed rooms, 2 reception rooms (one with pull-out sofa bed), 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets, the house offers a variety of exchangers a number of living options. A well equipped kitchen, walled and very private garden (we have 1 'unseen' neighbour), ample off-road parking, and some excellent cycling and walking outside the front door, mean you can enjoy the beautiful Lake District in rustic style but with all mod cons.

The house is 8 minutes drive from the market town of Ulverston, 15 minutes drive from Lake Coniston and 40 minutes from Junction 37 of the M6.

The garden is walled and laid to fruit and flowers, with a decking area, posh shed, and comfortable seating for 6. Red Kites are frequently seen, and the area generally, is a haven for wildlife.
