“We had a very comfortable break with our family. The house was perfect for us all. We had trips to the coast on several occasions which we loved. We certainly recommend this lovely home & surroundingcountryside.”
“Merolyn was a pleasure to communicate with. Nothing was too much trouble and as we were a large party went out of her way with the sleeping arrangements. We had a baby and toddler in the party and again went the extra mile with the provision of a travel cot and a high chair. The house was very homely and we were all sad to leave but hope to return in the future. May thanks again Linda and family”
“Merolyn did everything possible to make sure we had an enjoyable stay in her spacious, period home with oak framed kitchen extension together with ‘happy family vibe!’ Located towards the edge of the village and being well placed to explore Dartmoor and down to the Devon coast. We had a particularly fab day taking the ferry from Totnes to Dartmouth and also visited some National Trust properties including Overbeck’s/Coleton Fishacre and Greenway House and garden. No hesitation in recommending this property...thanks for our stay!”
“We loved staying at Merolyn's spacious family home with our friends over the New Year and were also able to take our friends little dog, which was great! It's the perfect place for social meals with a stunning, equipped kitchen and spacious dining area looking out over the garden. The fabulous (and huge) wood burning stove was amazing for cosy nights in playing games and catching up. We visited some of the recommended sights left for us in Merolyn's extensive guide, which was great! It's a super location for all sorts of walks (strolls or hikes) - despite the wet & windy winter weather we ventured into Dartmoor for some superb views and a pub lunch. We also enjoyed some of the nearby villages including Ashburton which has some great little shops and enjoyed a fancy lunch at the Treby Arms nr Plympton. Thanks for having us! ”
“Staying at Merolyns home was perfect in every way! We loved the combination of period character and modern simplicity and the gorgeous oak framed kitchen, it was very clean. Merolyn was an amazing host, she left us flowers and wine! We really appreciated The time she had spent giving us lots of information about things to do and places to eat. We felt very comfortable because it felt like a happy family home. Communication with Merolyn was great both talking on the phone and via messages. We loved exploring Devon and will definitely return. It was an honour to Stay here and can't thank Merolyn enough for a very lovely experience with our family. ”
