About our home

******* Sorry No Availability July-August 2018 *********

Our Edwardian seaside house was totally renovated in 2012 to create a beautiful contemporary home. With 5 bedrooms, our house has a modern interior and landscaped garden and is just a few minutes walk from the ocean and the centre of Bude. We also have a beach hut for your use at Crooklets beach, so you can store all your surf boards and wet suits there, or enjoy a glass of wine watching the sun set over the ocean - bliss!

The downstairs is light and airy, with fold back doors in the modern kitchen diner leading onto the upper deck and back garden. There's also the living room, kids den (with sky tv, games etc) and downstairs cloakroom. And a piano!

The first floor is home to 2 double bedrooms (1 ensuite), a family bathroom and 2 children's bedrooms. The children's rooms can sleep up to 5.

On the top floor is the master bedroom, with stunning ensuite which has dramatic views across the surrounding countryside and to the ocean beyond.

The garden is laid to lawn and borders. With a summerhouse and lower deck, ideal for al fresco dining whilst the sun goes down. There's also a trampoline and swings/climbing frame for the kids.

The local area...
Pastel painted beach huts, crazy golf and wide sandy beaches can only mean one thing, Bude. The town still retains an air of genteel charm putting it somewhere between up-to-date resort and nostalgic getaway. The town’s beaches (there are two massive sandy ones) are perfect for long summer days building sandcastles or getting in some surf lessons and in winter battling against the breeze walking the dog. The town centre has a good mix of independent shops and a bite to eat and from the town there are great walks along the highest sea cliffs in Cornwall. Nearby you’ll find some titbits of local history and some of the most dramatic beaches in the county.
