About our home

Arch Cottage is a 200 year old traditional Cornish home, located on Falcon Terrace just a two minute walk from Summerleaze beach. It has been modernised with a new kitchen and bathroom and fully re-decorated. It has a twin room, a double and a single and an outside enclosed back garden for relaxing and BBQs. There is parking on the driveway for two cars and plenty of alternative spaces nearby. There's a shed equipped with beach and fishing gear including boogie boards and wet suits.

Bude is North Cornwall's best resort for surfing and and has great walks (both on the beach and the cliffs) The location is ideal for easy strolls to the beach, the town and the canalside nature reserve, with lots to see and do within a few minutes walk - golf, tennis and squash courts, bowls, shopping, museum and art gallery, and lots of cafes and workshops. A short drive takes you to the indoor heated pool, sports centre, cinema and supermarkets.
There are also many places to visit within easy driving distance, such as Hartland, Clovelly, Boscastle, and Tintagel. Padstow. Dartmoor, Bodmin moor and the Eden Project all well within an hour’s drive.

Features

More about us

  1. We're a couple in our early 50's, no kids, easy going

  2. Both now semi-retired and looking to travel more, I'm a pawnbroker and my partner trains dressage horses

  3. We'd like to see some new places and having swapped homes informally with a friend in Cape-Town really enjoyed the experience
