About our home

Built in 1912 for Henry Brock, a famous illustrator, the house is Grade II listed and was reported as one of the 100 best houses in Cambridge. It was completely renovated from 2004-2006 to create a 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom house with a huge open plan kitchen, dining and family room opening onto our 1/2 acre garden. Additionally there is a sitting room and study downstairs and upstairs a large, light and airy drawing room. All reception rooms have open fires. Bedrooms are large and well proportioned, all with double, queen or king beds.

The neighbourhood is a mix of private residential and University college accommodation. It is a 10 minute walk into the centre of the city and we have bikes of most sizes available. Cambridge is a city where everyone cycles. Nearby we have swimming pools, gyms, theatres, cinemas, a good selection of shops, galleries and museums. Cambridge offers a rich cultural programme, lots of history, wonderful architecture and spectacular gardens.

The house comes with the option of a cleaner for the duration and car swaps also possible.
