About our home

Our home is a typical Victorian mid-terrace, with a contemporary style. It has a seperate living and dining room with everything you need to relax. Upstairs there is our main bedroom with kingsize bed and the guest room (with a double bed). The bathroom is also on this floor. Unfortunately our kitchen is quite small, but we cook in there often. Besides, there are plently of restaurants and take-aways near by for holiday moods ;o)The garden is my favourite bit, a long lawn with a turkey table at the end where we get sun late into the evening in the summer. Ours is a cosy home which would suit people who just need a base to tour rather than a luxurious pad to spend long hours in.

More about us

We are Jen and Grant, married 3 years and still in the honeymoon period! We are both professionals (Education officer and Police officer) and love travelling when able to get away. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to give it a go! Obvioulsy we're a bit nervous, so would like to have a few e-chats with any interested parties before the swap. We love the great outdoors (which is why we chose Cannock).
I HAVE PUT SOME PREFERRED DATES AND DESTINATIONS IN BUT WE'RE STILL OPEN FOR OFFERS. (THIS YEAR WE'RE PARTICULALY INTERESTED IN EASTERN EUROPE).

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

In the Midlands we are ideally situated for adventures to suit all tastes. Cannock itself is home to the Chase Forest - an area of outstanding natural beauty where you could get lost for hours. Birmingham is about 25 mins away and offers excellent dining out, a lively nightlife for all, museums and reportedly the best new shopping centre in Europe (the Bullring). Stratford Upon Avon (home to Shakespeare), Stafford and Derbyshire are all historical beauties also not far away. Infact, England is small enough for you to do a whistle-stop tour of the all the best bits in a week!
