About our home

We live on an estate in the regency town of Cheltenham, centre for the Cotswolds. It's a beautiful town, popular with families and famous for festivals, horse racing and education.

Our 3 bedroom home is out of town but close enough to walk in (20 minutes) or to travel by bus (10 minutes). We are close to a supermarket. If you like to walk, there are hills and fields within walking distance from our home.

We have 3 main bedrooms and an upstairs bathroom. Downstairs, there is another room that can be used as a bedroom, as well as a sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen has a table that seats 4-5 people and there is a downstairs toilet too. We have a log cabin in the back garden with a large table for dining, heating and lighting. Children will enjoy our swing in the garden.

We are experienced house swappers. We have successfully exchanged 17 times within the UK (with Nct houseswap), and have done 3 guest point exchanges with H.E. and 2 non-sim exchanges with PLU

From 2020 onwards, we are looking for exchanges within the UK that we can take our dog to, particularly in Devon/Cornwall, although we are open to overseas trips in Europe too.

Our youngest child is 11, and eldest is 19, but we have toys for babies, toddlers and younger children which we can get out on request. If you need other equipment for babies and toddlers, we may be able to source this locally for you.

We have a dog, please bear this in mind if you have allergies. He will not be at the house when you come.

We expect our guests to leave our home as they find it, tidy and in a clean condition. If you would like us to arrange a cleaner to come at the end of your stay, this can be arranged at a cost of £50.

We ask that our guests do not smoke in the house or in the log cabin. If our guests smoke in the garden, we ask that they smoke away from the log cabin because of the fire risk.
