A 18th Century Cotswold stone cottage nestled in a quiet country estate, our little cottage is very cosy with a comfy living room, large fireplace and country kitchen with an AGA.
The cottage is decorated in a traditional english design, with beamed ceilings, a large inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove in the living room, and an AGA in the kitchen.
There are two bedrooms: one with a king sized bed and one with two single beds. They share the large family bathroom with a bath and shower.
We regularly rent the cottage out on Airbnb and have 100% 5***** reviews. To see the latest reviews visit https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/3847057
The cottage is only a 10 minute drive from Cheltenham town centre, the famous Cheltenham Racecourse and it's shops and restaurants. The pretty town of Cirencester is only 15 minutes away, and the quaint, chocolate box villages of Bourton-on-the-Water, Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold are less than 30 minutes away.
The cottage is in the heart of the Cotswolds. For those who love the outdoors there are miles and miles of walks straight from the front door, so there is no need to drive anywhere beforehand.
For any culture lovers or foodies there is plenty to do - we are surrounded by beautiful National Trust & English Heritage properties as well as absolutely loads of really, really good pubs, bars and restaurants.
For groups wanting to accommodate an additional person (ie. to sleep 5 people), the sofa is extremely comfortable (I say this from personal experience) and plenty of quilts are available.
There is also a smart-TV complete with on-demand programs including Netflix, as well as free wifi. We also have a selection of board games and plenty of books for any rainy days where you want to spend all day inside!
Out the back of the cottage is a large private garden which backs on to open fields. At the top of the garden there is a table and chairs and a permanent BBQ area, should the weather be nice.
There are several amazing pubs and bars in the area - the local Kilkenny Inn is a short walk away and serves delicious food and local ales. For special occasions, Cheltenham has some of the best restaurants in the UK, including Lumiere and Purslane, or the trendy No.131 or The Tavern.
