About our home

Our stylish detached home is a mile from the centre of Cheltenham, a vibrant Regency Spa town which is the gateway to the glorious Cotswolds. With three generous double bedrooms, two of which are en-suite, our home has been recently decorated to a very high standard and features a modern kitchen diner and stylish living room with design fireplace and bi-fold doors leading on to a private walled garden. In addition there is private parking for two cars in the driveway to the front of the house.

Our home is located in the pretty village of Prestbury which features an award winning artisan butchers, a small supermarket and two excellent pubs. There is a cheap and regular bus service into Cheltenham and to the gorgeous town of Winchcombe, the former capital of West Mercia. Other Cotswold gems such as Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold, Stroud and Cirencester are a short drive from the house, while Stratford-Upon-Avon and the Welsh border are just an hour away.

Where is it?

We live in Prestbury village situated in the north-eastern part of Cheltenham which is a sizeable town and gateway to the beautiful Cotswold region in southern England. We have the best of both worlds as the town centre is just 20 minutes' walk from our house with Cleeve Hill and the rolling hills just a few minutes' walk from the village itself. Cheltenham is a lively place with a large number of restaurants, bars, cafes and a rich cultural heritage. There is a very good bus service into town (10 minutes) and a main railway service to London, Bristol and Birmingham as well as Manchester and even Scotland!

Buzzy restaurants
There are a wide variety of restaurants catering for every taste and budget. There are also two great pubs in the village itself and both offer lunch and dinner menus
Cool bars
Too many to mention individually but everything from cocktail bars to wine bars and pubs
Cozy cafés
Absolutely - coffee culture is big in Cheltenham
Retail therapy
Both independent boutiques in addition to the well known high street brands such as John Lewis, Marks & Spencers and Waitrose
Bit of culture
Cheltenham is a cultural hotspot with annual festivals featuring literature, jazz, classical and comedy as well as horse racing. For art, check out the Wilson Gallery and the Pittville Pump Rooms offer visitors a glimpse of Cheltenham's Regency heritage
Walks in the park
There several beautifully kept public spaces of which Pittville Park is great for leisurely walking and cycling
Spot of exercise
Check out the Cheltenham Lido for some great outdoor swimming. There is also an excellent sports centre
Day tripping
As well as the Cotswolds surrounding the area, there are beauty spots such as Broadway, the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean within easy reach. There are excellent train and bus services
