About our home

Willow Tree cottage is a spacious cottage that's full of fantastic features, and it's the ideal place to relax, situated on the Wales-England border close to some of the best attractions in each country.

A contemporary, luxurious property that we're certain you'll want to return to again and again, Willow Tree Cottage is charming 17th century cottage set on the banks of the River Wye. The cottage, with river views, has recently been completely renovated to the highest of standards.

It boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two reception rooms, modern kitchen, idyllic garden overlooking the river front and parking space.

A rustic log-fire can be found in the lounge, which features original stone walls, underfloor heating and welsh slate floors. Rooms are well-lit, providing a cosy, homely feel, and feature modern furnishings and state-of-the-art facilities. In the living room, you'll find a large flat-screen TV, with DVD facilities, as well as a music system so you can enjoy your favourite songs as you relax in the evening. The fitted kitchen comes complete with high-tech appliances including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.

Whenever you choose to visit, you'll find wine and flowers waiting for you, and for Christmas bookings we're happy to provide a tree and some decorations, creating a real holiday atmosphere.

Willow Tree Cottage is set in a beautiful valley location over looking the River Wye within easy reach of Chepstow, where you'll be able to visit the castle and racecourse. You'll be close to the Forest of Dean, renowned for outdoor activities, and to the Brecon Beacons for a challenging walk in any season. Local attractions include a cinema, theatre, leisure centre and golf course, we're close to popular canoeing centres, and you'll be within walking distance from a selection of brilliant pubs and shops. Nearby family attractions include the Clearwell Caves in Coleford, Puzzlewood, the Museum of Mazes and the Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo, see the activities page for more information
