“We spent three weeks in the lovely house of Chantal and Henry during the 2018 summer and that time was a very enjoyable and memorable experience. The house is very comfortable, with three wide bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen connected to the garden. The location is excellent, 15 minutes walking along the canal to the cathedral and the historic center of Chichester. There are two supermarkets in a walking distance. We especially enjoyed exploring the near coast line. West Wittering (20minutes driving) has spectacular beaches and there are numerous tracks to explore walking or biking. From Chichester we visited some closer cities, such as Brighton, Winchester and Portsmouth, and took the train to spend two days in London. In an hour and a half we got to the heart of London. We also enjoyed visiting other small villages, farmer markets and walking in the countryside (do not miss the visit to the yew forest). We highly recommend exchange the house with the Lushington family. They provided us with a lot of useful tips and comments to visit the surroundings and get the most out of our time there. Our kids also enjoyed a lot playing with the toys of their daughters. A very successful exchange that we sincerely recommend.”
