Where is it?

I live in a nice house in the beautiful village of East Bergholt, situated in the Dedham Vale and the birthplace of the artist Sir John Constable. The picture the "Haywain" was painted at Flatford Mill in the village.

In the village there are 3 pubs as well as a shop, Tea Rooms and a bakery and tennis courts for hire as well as the walking around the Haywain.

We are 10 minutes from Colchester (Britain's oldest recorded town)and 1 hour from London by train (3 miles) or car and 1 hour from Cambridge by car.

The quaint villages of Manningtree and Dedham are within 3 miles.
