About our home

The house is situate on a 'B' road in the village of Cottenham, 7 miles due north of Cambridge. Parking is availabout both on the wide pavement outside the front of the house and in the driveway. The front door is used, but we usually enter the house through the side gates to the left hand side of the house. A wooden shed stands in the driveway, with bikes available for use.

The kitchen is spacious enough for cooking and dining and has a gas fired Aga which also heats the water. There is a fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle and a variety of electrical gadgets to complement the well-equipped kitchen. The utility room is reached passing through an office, and has a washing machine, upright freezer, separate toilet and washbasin and a spacious wet room.

There are two large sitting rooms at the front of the house, one with a wood burning stove. The house is centrally heated.

Upstairs there are five bedrooms, 3 of which have double beds, 1 a single and the other 2 bunk beds. There is an upstairs bathroom and toilet and separate toilet with washbasin.

There's a TV/DVD player (and video player) radio/CD player in the kitchen, WiFi and telephone.
