On the Sussex South Downs with a view of the sea. Between Chichester and Petworth. Near Goodwood club, horse racing and motor circuit. Next to woods with long walks up the downs to the South Downs Way.

“A wonderful & interesting country house in beautiful grounds. Very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed spending time in the well furnished conservatory overlooking the garden, full of glorious daffodils, and the distant view of the South Downs. The path from the house leads directly through the woods to the South Down Way. "Petworth House & gardens", and "West Dean" gardens & parkland about 10 minutes drive away. The coast is within 15 minutes. . We had an enjoyable and relaxing time. Excellent host.”
