About our home

Unavailable during peak holiday dates. Lovely old cottage that was the original post office in the village. Although modernized, it does retain some character features, namely the Inglenook fireplace. There is on double bedroom, a twin and a sofa bed in the living room. Directly opposite we have a lovely family pub with play area out the back. 2 more pubs are in the village , one of which is very well known throughout the surfing community (The Thatch, Billy Budd's next door). You can walk through the dunes to the beach. There are also the beaches of Putsburgh, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands a few minutes drive away. A few excellent gastro pubs nearby serving excellent food. Loads of stuff for kids to do, with at least 5 theme / fun parks. Damian Hirst's restaurant and new statue "Verity" in the nearby harbour of Ilfracombe This area is very much a holiday destination and therefore caters for everyone. Out of season it is much quieter, but has a lovely charm all of it's own. UNAVAILABLE DURING SCHOOL SUMMER HOLIDAYS. NON- SIMULTANEOUS SWAP OK.
