About our home

we live in a lovely family home. We have a semi detached house with garden and offstreet parking. We are in a very happening area with everything you need close to hand. We have a comfortable family house in NW London. The house has 3 bedrooms plus a spare room that is used as an office. The loft room has two single beds and en-suite shower and toilet. The remaining 2 bedrooms on the first floor have have double beds, one super king. This floor has a bathroom (shower, bath, toilet) On the ground floor there is a large lounge and kitchen diner, plus utility room with toilet. We have central heating and a real log fire in the lounge. The downstairs floors are wooden, upper floors mixture of wood and carpet. The garden is about 30ft long, has table and chairs, BBQ, swing and sheds. In the lounge there is a dvd player, vcr and tv, plus CD player and radio. The utility room has toilet, washing machine, dryer and drying space. The kitchen has a double oven and separate gas hob, large American style fridge, microwave and dining table which seats 6 - 8. We have a bi-weekly cleaner . Parking is on the forecourt. Buses and London Underground & Overground within walking distance. There is an extensive Sports Centre (Willesden) within the same street that also has a pool. There are local park with kids facilities and cafes within walking distance.
The area is very multi-cultural. The high street (5 minutes walk away) has a mixture of local shops, a small supermarket, many nice shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. A large supermarket is 10 minute walk away. There is a cinema, Willesden Sport Centre with swimming pool and two lovely parks within easy walking distance. More cinemas are very close by. The tube station is 10 minute walk away, as is a local Overground station. Camden Town and its markets is a short train ride away; Notting Hill and Portobello market a walk or bus ride. You can be in Oxford Circus within 25 minutes and Trafalgar Square in 30 minutes on the tube. The Natural History and Science Museums are a bus ride away. Little Venice, Regents Park, Primrose Hill, Hyde Park, London Zoo and the South Bank, along with all of London's other attractions are within easy reach. To take you outside of London, the M4, M3, M1 and M25 are all accessible.

More about us

  1. We are a mature couple, Sian 51 & Tim 52, but don't look or feel it. We have one grown up son age 30 (no longer lives with us but owns a very nice Gastro Pub, The Wheatsheaf in Fulham) and a 15 year old daughter currently at a local state school..

  2. We are both Firefighters with the London Fire Brigade. We have nearly 27 years service each, work at different local fire stations and have lived in our house for 20 years.

  3. We love to socialise with our family and friends, eat out, travel. We are great advocates of fairness and equality and diversity and we try and make sure this is reflected in all we say and do.
